My motivation to pray for businesses comes from learning Chick-fil-A was the number one U.S. chicken chain in 2013. Chick-fil-A, located mostly in the south, has less than half the stores as its competitor KFC.
As a customer of Chick-fil-A, I know they have a great product, excellent customer service, and a good system for moving cars through the drive-through line quickly. Because of the owner's faith, Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays.
My North Dakota cousins, Cassie and Abbey, visited us during their Spring Break. Chick-fil-A was on their list of places to eat. Even "Flat Liz" enjoyed the experience! (More about "Flat Liz's adventures in the Lone Star State" to follow!)

Thank you, Lord, for giving skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of crafts and trades. Your Word says You give people the ability to produce wealth, and for this, we thank You. Thank You for Your provision. You are good, and meet all our needs!
Please bless business owners and workers with wisdom, creativity, ingenuity, humility, generosity, and the fear of the LORD. May all business be conducted with honesty and integrity. Let all be good managers of the resources You provide. Allow businesses that adhere to good principles to thrive and grow. May Your people show Your light and love in the workplace.
